Getting into the room it had a weird odor. We went into the bathroom & it smelled heavily of sewage which remained throughout our trip even though we left the fan running the entire time. This hotel is extremely run down. Don’t take my word for it, look at the pictures I’ve attached. Carpets are severely stained in many spots and the ceiling is peeling away from the drywall in several places. There are tons of scuffs, broken tile, missing carpet, and rusty old stuff throughout the hotel. This place needs serious repair and it's very clear they are nickel-and-diming their guests to pay for parking and other things which is insane given the very apparent issues. They seem to be taking the "fast and cheap" method to fixing everything versus a "get it done right". We had an ocean view but the windows were so dirty that you can hardly see out of them (see picture of building windows). The elevators were literally falling apart. I also couldn't tell if all the yellow stuff on the floors were urine or cleaner or what in the elevators (again see pics). If you've got a family you may need to take two trips up and down when moving your bags because they barely fit one person with the cart carriers. There is no room service unless you specifically request it each day of your trip. This is the only hotel I've ever been at like that. Additionally, they charge for parking a vehicle even if you’re staying at the hotel. The pool area is decent but the pool had mold (or lots of bird poop, I couldn't tell). The birds hangout around the pergola all day and like to poop all over everyone below and in the pool. I don't really blame the hotel for this but there must be a better way. If I could give them 0/5 stars I would. I can't believe that Wyndham allows them to operate under their brand.

Location was the main reason why we stayed. Comfort was the reason why we rated it low. Room was humid and very uncomfortable to sleep. The AC was working but humidity level was too high, the AC would turn off and humidity level would cause room to get hot and we would wake up sweating every 45 min; seemed like.

The comfort of the room was unbearable.

Great location. Great ocean view rooms.

If you are selling ocean view rooms at premium rates, windows should be washed every day.

This is my go to spot whenever I go to Corpus. Other than to go to the beach we never leave the hotel.

Got here Saturday and checked out this morning. Good food & drinks, friendly staff and beautiful view. Bonus is that this place is pet friendly. Was very excited about his place until we got into our room, immediately was disappointed. Floors dirty upon entry, shower had a very difficult time draining, stained couch and the fridge was broken & leaking. We had to go out for our every meal. For the price we are paying for this hotel, it did not meet our standards. We will not be returning unless something changes in the room conditions. I recommend finding another places since there are so many nearby

Right on the beach, good views, large room with a deck facing the Gulf.

Breakfast not included but they do have a restaurant on site. A little pricier than others we stayed in but I'm sure that's because the beach is right there.
