"Email recieved same day as check advising hotel closed!!"

Received an email at lunchtime on the day of checkin that due to illness the hotel was closed. Then trying to get a refund was a right rigmarole!! Things happen- refund should have been instant and telephone call made not an email - I don’t normally check my personal emails when at work and I wouldn’t have found out until I arrived at the hotel at 9pm!! Very poor customer service . Even if cheapest offer will not use venue again.

No hot water for shower and sink. Bed creaked very badly. No tv remote. Checkout 10 am. Check in 3 pm.
