I wish breakfast was more interesting. For the amount of $$ for the room, I'd expect a lovely spread with fresh fruits, cheeses and meat to chose from, in addition to tasty and warm hot food ( nothing was really good). Also, better coffee, some real creamers and coffee cups not made of Styrofoam. Also, there should be ice available in the breakfast dining room., and some healthier juice options. It's Maine! Land of the farm to table.

It had an awful smell, rooms were not very warm & comfortable, furniture mismatched and run down, window seals broken so you could not see out, no water pressure, dead bugs all over the window sills.

All was good. Room clean. Staff friendly and helpful.

The gym is great with 2 peloton spin cycles, 3 treadmills, weights, bench, mats. Employees kind and helpful. The room was great! Comfy bed, plenty of space with a full-sized fridge and kitchen amenities. Very clean! The hallways smell great as well!

Sam at the front desk was amazing! She found us perfect rooms. Being next door to the shopping center meant that once we parked, we didn't have to drive again. Lots of room to walk the dogs. Loved being on the 1st floor.

The location of this hotel was perfect. There was a grocery store with everything you needed within walking distance and the best home cooking at a restaurant within walking distance. Ellsworth is a cute little town and about 30 minutes from Acadia. It was nice not to be in the “busyness” of the park. The staff were excellent. The hotel, itself, is old. There is no elevator, so you need to carry your bags up the stairs if you’re staying on the second floor. The WiFi did not extend to our room even though it is listed as an amenity. The staff told us that the management knew about it and they are waiting for extenders. It rained a lot one night and the satellite TV went out. Also, our phone did not work, something that the management was also aware of. The breakfast provided was pretty good and the coffee was excellent. The location and the staff are what is great about this hotel. We had the maintenance man come the night the TV wouldn’t work. He was prompt and did all he could think of to get it up and running, but when we realized it was a dish, we knew that there was nothing in the room that was the problem.
