La Quinta by Wyndham Springfield

The room was comfortable and clean. The fitness room was great.

The halls smelled. Check-in was a bit nerve-racking. The person at the front desk couldn't find my reservation even though I had a confirmation number. It was not a great start. Eventually, she found it and blamed the issue on 'my name being spelled wrong' even though I gave her a conf # not a name and , my name was spelled correctly in the system when I made the reservation online. I could not access the gym with my room key and had to go down to the front desk. I had not been given a special fitness room key. "sorry, my bad" was what I was told as she gave me a fitess room key

The room was clean and the beds comfortable.

The breakfast was not great. The sausages were not cooked throughout and didn’t look good. The juice machine was not working and it didn’t have a sign.

This is my second time staying here really do like it

I didn’t enjoy the breakfast this time around

I loved the cleanliness and also the comfort of the beds we had a king size bed and sofa bed it was amazing! Also loved the small kitchen we had a newly renovated room it was perfect for the family.My pet was also allowed a small additional fee applied.

I definitely did not enjoy the breakfast options. I think more variety is definitely needed especially with kids. It was a little disappointing everything was great but as far as breakfast it did not meet my overall expectations.

Location, facilities, everything

Breakfast was great , breakfast staff were amazing ! Very attentive to busy dining hall and handled the big crowd well . Well done breakfast and kitchen staff !

Front desk staff terrible ! Terrible customer service . Fire alarm went off , we get down in the lobby and they didn’t tell anyone we didn’t need to evacuate . Turned off fire alarm sound on first floor only . Ice machine didn’t work ,asked front desk for more towels - never happen .

Stayed at La Quinta in Springfield exhibiting at Equine Affaire at the Big E. Super location, room had everything we needed. I had many items for the event sent directly to the hotel. Nyah (on the front desk) had everything ready for me when I arrived. She was very helpful throughout our stay. When it was time to go, Robert brought scales to the lobby so we could weigh our luggage to make sure we were under the limit. Flying in to trade shows isn't easy but Nyah and Robert did a great job making our stay very enjoyable.
