Rossio Boutique Hotel

The room was spacious. We had 3 in a room and this was the most spacious room on our trip.

Window looked out to a wall. Location was not the best. Seemed to be many immigrants that gather and hang out near the property on benches and the ground in the area. Just a half a block away the area seems to improve. Also the entrance is on a pedestrian walkway, so uber has to drop you off a half a block away.

Central location, comfortable bed, clean, nice bathroom and towels.

Kleines Hotel in guter Lage. Etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Wir haben gut geschlafen. Vieles fußläufig erreichbar.

The location is so run down I was afraid to get out of my car to even go to reception. Many not local people just hanging around and looking very suspicious. Sitting on the side of the road with bags and clothes.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. When the in room hair dryer that is connected to the wall stopped working they immediately gave me a portable one when I asked.

The location is not good at all. Unfortunately I had a non refundable room, otherwise I would have cancelled. It is on the edge of Martim Moniz. At the bottom of the street there are a lot of men hanging about 24/7 and homelessness. As a solo female traveller it is very intimidating and unsettling. If you are a female solo traveller and have a free cancellation, I would look at areas outside of Rossio. If you are a female solo traveller and can’t cancel, I would say nothing happened to me, so don’t let the idea of it ruin your trip but just be aware at all times and prepare yourself. I arrived at 7am on a Sunday too which heightened it because there was no one around. During the week it was much better. It is only about 15 seconds up the street to the hotel. I just wouldn’t come back too late. In a different location this hotel would be great.
