Americas Best Value Inn Franklin

Friendly staff, just an older motel. They are doing the best they can with what they have to work with. Smells smoky and musty. Dingy sheets, molded shower curtain.

Our door handle was loose and it was hard to get in room. Someone knocked then tried to open door at 7am. I don’t think I would stay there again.

3 nights in this hotel no heat in the room. I was not given another room. I was given a space heater. Really? Not acceptable.

Bed was hard and pillows were wore out

I decided to stay here because it was only 77 dollars a night and only 20 minutes from Cherokee. I probably wouldn’t stay here again. We stayed in room 15. First the pros… refrigerator and microwave. Also no stairs all floors on the ground some with a chair outside you can sit in. The cons. Well here is just a few.. TV had lines running through it didn’t block vision bad but first time I’ve ever seen that Towels and wash cloths were white with brown stains. Light switch was broken fan was noisy and loud. No free breakfast just free coffee and juice which I didn’t try because bojangles was just right up the road. Pillows were gross and flat. In conclusion, I’d stay here again because it was cheap. If it’s just you and a friend that really don’t care as long as it’s cheap… I’d stay here. At 77 a night it was way cheaper than anywhere I saw in Cherokee. However you get what you pay for. I wouldn’t bring my wife here because she booshzie as hell. If you have a wife like that take her to the super 8 in Cherokee.

I loved the staff. My only one complaint is that there were ring marks left on the nightstand from previous occupants. Which means it wasnt properly cleaned prior to my arrival. With us being in covid times, i feel that proper cleaning is A MUST!

Courteous people. Room was not in good condition. Inadequate bedding and very old linen/bath supplies. Bathroom very power.

The hotel is located in a peaceful valley surrounded by mountains, and is still close to town. It was very beautiful and peaceful in the morning. The room was surprisingly large too. The staff was friendly and the service was great. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

Nothing like the county police waking you up in the middle of the night banging on the neighbors door and serving them a warrant. Walls are paper thin so it kept us up all night. Beds were pretty uncomfortable. It was clean but very old. I’ve stayed in nicer places for a lot cheaper. And the breakfast was a joke.
