Americas Best Value Inn Franklin

I have to say we were pretty impressed. We needed a cheap hotel close to Cherokee since our usually campground was booked during our last minute trip... It was super clean. It had the coldest AC I have ever had in a hotel.. We always turn it down as low it can go. Let me tell you, I had to turn it back up! Sometimes you can hear some traffic racing up the road since it’s off of a Main Street but wasn’t terrible. Beds were super comfy. There were 3 of us... myself, husband and 16 year old daughter.. they provided and extra tier and washcloth.. not sure about toiletries as we always bring our own anyways... Owners were very friendly and overall was a great stay for what we needed for our 4 nights. Please keep in mind this isn’t a 5 star hotel. Bathroom could use a bit of updating but honestly for the price, you can’t beat it! We will definitely stay here again when we are in town!!

They didn’t give us enough towels, washcloths etc. There were dead bugs on the floor. Maid service didn’t clean our room while we were gone so I had to request more towels and then drive to the office to get them. The phone in the room didn’t work. It was very obvious no one had been in the room in a long time.

Overnight trip to mountains to dig gems nearby. Room was larger than most hotels. King bed still had plenty of room around it. It had a desk and one chair. We would have preferred a table with two chairs to eat on. At least another chair would have been nice. Only two bath towels but an extra one would have been nice with my long hair! No hairdryer but that was ok. Hair dried fast in heat! There was no coffee pot to make a cup of coffee. We had a partial roll of toilet paper with no extra roll. Bed was not comfortable to us. It was hard. Also need two pillows each. For what we paid it was ok for overnight stay! It is at corner of two busy roads but was quite! We went down to store right by it and got coffee and breakfast. Two cafes right there for breakfast. Great location and friendly staff.

Well when we arrived there had been a power outage. Owners were extremely apologetic and accommodating! They went ahead and checked us into our room with hopes of power being back on soon. When they found out power would not be back until the morning and then realized their rooms up on the hill still had power, they moved all of the ones with a room to an upgraded room on the hill. The rooms were super big and very clean. Would definitely stay again!!!!

This is such a wonderful little motel for the price. The management are so friendly and the motel while an older establishment, is kept to a very high clean standard. Well maintained!! I stay here often for personal/business stays, and would not stay anywhere else in this town or area, even at the supposed better motels. I very highly recommend this motel.

The room was very clean and roomy. The bathroom had been remodeled but there was no shelf in the shower stall for soap, shampoo, razor, etc.....not a major issue. Overall the room met all our needs. We were there on a motorcycle trip and the staff allowed us to park bikes under the eve of the sidewalk. This was our third stay here and will stay again.

Windows need replaced. Cold air comes in all around. Could not close all the way. Had to put. Hand towels in barhroom window to take a shower without freezing. Wife started to take a shower and head broke off. She waited till we got back home to take shower. They said they would open new room for her to take shower but all rooms were cold.

Needed a place to stay for a few hours before checking into a rental home. It was well before check-in time and our room was not yet clean, but the staff found us a different space. Room was old, but clean. Restful 4 hours!
