Stayed here for the first time for a two night stay while visiting the area. Arrived 8 minutes early, but couldn’t check in until exactly 4:00pm. Multiple others arrived within minutes after, and were told the same thing. We asked for an extra blanket, which was delivered to the room with holes and stains. I tried calling down to the front desk multiple times from my room for a replacement, there was no answer. I tried calling the outside line, again, no answer. I finally walked down to the front desk, and was told the phones had been turned off (note that this was roughly 8pm). I was given a room key check-in that did not work. I asked for it to be reprogrammed and it still did not work. The third time when I went to ask for a new card altogether, I was told not to place it near other magnetic strips, implying that the issue was my fault. At another point, my daughter was at the front desk, waiting to ask a question, while the receptionist continued on a lengthy phone conversation, laughing and ignoring her completely until she finally left. Unfriendly, unhelpful employees who do not seem to care about their guests. In terms of the facilities, the fitness center does not have hand sanitizer (equipment sanitizing wipes are not intended for use on skin), and the refrigerator in microwave are housed in each room’s bathroom. The hotel restaurant was slow, and food was not good (stay away from the fish and chips, as the fish breading was awful, and fries were cold). Odd, and overall disappointing experience.

Jay at the front desk was extremely responsive and helpful. He went above and beyond for us. We had a rough 8 hour day of travel and he not only listened to my break down, he got us checked in early and on the right shuttle for the wedding we were there to attend.
