Riverfront Hotel

Photos on Expedia don’t represent the current conditions of the Riverfront Hotel. Pool, restaurant and lounge are all closed with no plan to reopen. Riverfront patio no longer exists. Entire facility appears as though its golden era was 20 years ago. Was probably a show place back then. Staff was adequately helpful. Book your stay here with low expectations and you will be satisfied.

Comfortable with nice bedding. Had picnic table in a nice area to enjoy the outdoors.

The area is nice. I believe the property was great in it's heyday. The rooms apear nice on first impression, although the main areas are clean they are not. The tv didn't work, the bedside lamps did not work, the CO detector randomly alerted, food containers under the bed. This along with a guy smoking a joint / weed in the lobby as we were leaving in the morning... . Not on my recommendation list.

The property is run down. The place smells like smoke and must. When we went to our rooms, they were both occupied. When we went back to the front desk, they acted totally surprised, but then had to check to see if anyone was in the next rooms selected. At this point I gave the key back and walked out

musty, old smelly building had no dining,or pool. propery needs a remodel.

I was in room 155 and it was absolutely INFESTED with mosquitos. To the point where I am genuinely concerned for my health, I am covered in bites. I couldn’t sleep because they were buzzing in my ears all night. I left at 5am because I couldn’t take it anymore. I would appreciate a refund for some of my stay. Hotel was dingy as well but the mosquitos are what concerns me. It was worse than when I camp.

Hotel was extremely run down, no access to the river as advertised, the restaurant and the pool were closed and breakfast was poor options of yogurt and cereal. The room was manageable but overall I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel location is very nice, the staff very friendly and helpfull. My only negative was that the staff did not present themselves 'professionally' in dress. They were wearing T-shirts or whatever they might weed the garden in. Breakfast was minimal and 'cjeap in appearance'. Our tub did not drain, so I showered in another vacant room. If the staff dressed more professionally, as in a uniform, and the breakfast would have been 'average for Holiday Inn Express' I would rank Riverfront slightly above average. Worth the price, perhaps could demand a higher price with slight improvments...but I don't know the market

Building in need of repairs. Carpets very dirty. Services limited.
