Riverfront Hotel

Loved that it is located on the river. Decided to try fishing from shore and caught a 38" northern! Some other guests were catching numbers of smallmouth bass. Property was pet friendly and we met some great pets and their owners. Rooms were generously sized, and clean. Exterior could use an update but over all a very good experience.

The people were nice but it was kind of run down and a little dirty.

This hotel had a funky smell and room was in a state of repair. Almost all amenities were closed. The free breakfast was horrible. Worse i have ever seen.

Upon entering our room, there were no two king beds, no jacuzzi tub as advertised and why we booked. I called the front desk, was told “Did you book with Expedia? They always say there are two beds.” “What about the hot tub”, I asked. “Seems bait and switchy.” “ Well, we do have the bridal suite which has a hot tub”, she replied. “We’ll be right down to switch room keys”, said I. And there we found ourselves, in the bridal suite. Which had a very comfortable king bed despite the overall lack of upkeep. The property itself sits right on the river where you can reach Canada in a stone’s throw and a strong arm. Lovely acreage..a few bucks thrown at maintenance would do them a world of good.

It is an older motel, but the room was very nice and clean!

Hotel is preparing to shut down as new building across the street is under construction, but it is in such disrepair that they should explain that upon booking or close down.

Do not stay here. Run down and looks like it will close any day.

This property is not called Riverfront but is an old AmericInn. GPS for the address does not get you to the hotel. I think we were only one of two occupants in the entire hotel. The outside is horrible and looks like it’s a condemned building. Do not recommend and I think Expedia should take it off their list of hotels.
