Wingate by Wyndham Troy

It was cheep through booking.com but almost double if you went through the hotel itself. Everything looked nice on the surface. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was decent.

The lock on my balcony door was broken and installed wrong to begin with. The balcony door on my Dad's room was very hard to open. The tub in both rooms leaked. Something in my Dad's bathroom was leaking onto the floor. There was a chirping on the 4th floor that sounded like a dying smoke detector. I called the front desk and they said they would look into it but it never stopped, keeping me up and waking me up throughout the night. Need more than one microwave in the breakfast area if guests are going to have to heat the breakfast sandwiches themselves. They have surge protectors daisy chained to extension cords for the tv/cable. The elevator doors open before the elevator stops moving and the door close button doesn't seem to work. I'm a Wyndham member but I couldn't get any points because I booked through a third party. I don't have that issue with any other membership.

The jacuzzi tub did not work. Room was dirty. When I took shower the water wouldn’t drain so I was basically standing in my dirty water.
