Best Western Plus New Ulm

Very vlean.

Air conditioning didn't cool, water was only lukewarm.

This place needs an update. My room had a dehumidifier going constantly. I had to empty it twice a day. Everything seems a bit dated.

Beautiful comfy beds, huge tv, had a larger frig. but wasn’t noisy at all. Front desk were helpful and pleasant. Just disappointed that the breakfast was only served to 9am on a Friday morning. They physically close the doors to the breakfast area promptly at 9. Then both coffee pots in the lobby did not have coffee, but I made tea instead.

The breakfast was great!! The people who served it were also great. The hangout area in the lobby was beautiful.

There was a dehumidifier in our room. It was full when we arrived and was never emptied. Our room was not cleaned during our 3 night stay.

The back door entrance from parking lot was never locked even though it appeared a room key was necessary to enter.

The lady that checked us in was not informative at all. Did not mention when and where breakfast was in the morning and didn’t say much other than where our room was located. The room was clean, pillows were hard. It was a good place to rest for the night.

I love the indoor pool in the center of the hotel, very old school the way hotels used to be. The pool area is the main focus of the hotel, very neat. I enjoyed the spacious seating areas, and breakfast area. My complaint was a dirty bathroom, long hair on the shower walls so it was obviously not cleaned. I think the room rate is very steep for this type of hotel! There was nothing over the top that justified a $260 night stay. Great hotel but room cleaning and rate change before I could recommend it.
