Quality Inn I-74 Batesville

Shower was too low, I had to stoop to get under it. The commode was short, and difficult to use. The sink was too low, I had to bend over to use it. The room would not get cool enough, even overnight.

Location

The room smelled musty. I took my vehicle air freshener in and put it on the AC unit to make it smell better.

The manager, I think her name was Peggy, was the only good thing about this location for me. She was very helpful when an emergency came up & we had to cut our trip short.

The room was very small. The curtains were dirty & turned my fingers black when I pushed them back. The sheer curtains were torn badly. There was a hole on the inside of the bathroom door. The linens didn't look clean to me. The plug to the hair dryer was broken but was still plugged into the wall. I turned off the outlet with the buttons & unplugged it to avoid any fire hazard.

Affordable and in a good location

I was very disappointed that you list having a fitness center but didn’t have one. You have a pool which is listed differently but that was closed for maintenance. Please fix that on booking.com when I travel I specifically look for a fitness center.

Room was atrocious. Window coverings were stained and tattered. Comforter was stained and cigarette burned. Pool was closed. Ice machine on second floor wasn't even connected. Water pressure was non-existent. Overall horrible stay for the price and location.

Pool was in the ad but did not have one. No printout of my bill. Rude at the desk.

Breakfast was simple but good....room was small but worked for one night...rooms were nothing special just a place to sleep.

Walls could have been cleaner... bathroom smelt weird kinda like poop.
