Easy check in, great location, well maintained

A bit overpriced, a bit hot in villas and slow to cool room as the heat pump settings had been controlled

We loved the location - it’s so easy to walk into Russell, and the park itself is beautiful and well kept. The accommodation was basic but did what we needed it to do.

Although we did grow to like our cabin, and it felt nice to come back to, it’s definitely tired and in need of a deep clean. The tap wobbled, as did the saucepan lids, the plug didn’t fit the sink so the water was always going down etc. We’ve just done a 3 week trip across the north island and this was by far our most expensive accommodation with the most basic facilities. But we did love our time there however in the end!

The view was beautiful with tuis in the trees and wekas in the bushes. There were all the minimum amenities like fridge, freezer, microwave, shower, etc.

The lounge, kitchen & bathroom are tiny in the 2 bedroom unit. There may have been beds for 6 people to sleep, but there was not enough room for 6 people to hangout. That wasn't an issue for us since we were just passing through for 1 night, but we would have been unpleasantly squished if it had been any longer.

Not to far from the town, but far enough that you couldn’t hear town noise. Very tidy property, awesome wild life.

Ants in the room. Small cabin for young family. Higher side of pricing for the stay.

The fact I could bot get a refund and I will never look thru booking.com ever again and this was my first and last time and every yachts person I know will know and dalot already do how u can't even get a refund for a booking l
