"Great Military Reunion Site"

It is my great pleasure to write a review about our stay at the Four Points by Sheraton, Kansas City Airport. My wife and I along with another couple plan the annual reunion for the U.S. Navy ship (USS KRETCMER DE/DER-329). The ship was decommissioned 52 years ago on October 1st which means most of our reunion members are at least 70 years old. This offers challenges to both the planners and the host facility. We first talked to Rhonda Houge, Sr. Sales Manager, October 2024 and completed an onsite visit in November. Rhonda informed us of pending construction, but assured us of work arounds to minimize our impact. During our stay, Rhonda was very accessible and took care of our questions or requests. Additionally, every staff member was very attentive and respectful. And yes, there was a lot of construction in the hotel. However, there were work arounds to make things run smoothly. Our reunions are held from Wednesday afternoon through Sunday morning. We have dinner every evening followed by a brief meeting. Rhonda and hostesses Rachel & Ashley went out of their way to make it memorable. Each night, Rhonda led a fun group activity, such as walker racing, pretzel eating challenge and paper airplane flying – my airplane crashed! All in all, we had great cooperation and enjoyable stay for our reunion group. L & S Hafey

Wish there was a mini-refrigerator and microwave in the room.

Hotel is very nice but they need new couches in the rooms. The couch almost broke my husbands back when he sat down. They are too stiff and are like sitting on bricks.
