The Resort at Lake of the Ozarks

We liked thecease of walking the property. And the staff was great. We didnt like not being able to walk down by the boat docks

Stay was good. Just okay room but it was clean. First night woke up as next door couple was smoking weed and talking outside our room at 4am. Not the resorts fault but it was very disturbing especially the stink. The bar Encore was nice. A little pricey but happy hour was very reasonable and the staff was great. Nice adult only pool with swimup bar was awesome. We would definitely stay there again.

The check in and actual rooms give a bit of an older motel vibe but not horrible. Our door had to be slammed HARD to secure and the bed was so obnoxiously squeaky that I had to tell our friends in the next room that I was just a light sleeper and not being …active…all night. You can tell they are slowly trying to make improvements like the bathroom sink had a new more modern faucet. The walk to the restaurant and pool bar was a bit of a trek but not too bad. The restaurant and drinks were good. I ordered a simple steak and it was perfect. The pool bar was small and not as crazy as the other pool bars around the lake. It is located in a semi private cove so you can’t be picked up at those docks by a boat rental. Ubers are about $25-$30 one way to any popular pool bar/restaurant. All in all, the staff were friendly and helpful and I liked that this hotel was a bit more off the grid from all the other hot spots. If they put a little more into the rooms, this resort could easily be one of the best on the lake.

Could not find a place to park. Stairs were poorly lit and inconsistent in depth making it difficult to manage in dark. Distance to outdoor pool was unexpectedly far. Beds were comfortable but rooms were outdated.

We loved the pools! The bed was not real comfortable but everything else was great!!!

The club, bars, and pool were awesome, if definitely consider going back

dirty. so many bugs! even with cleaned sheets they got dirty with bugs. the area was nice but the room was just unbelievable. the bathroom was so tiny only one person could fit.

The room was very stuffy. They had a tiny humidifier in there to “help” but it was not doing anything. The floors were nasty and the tub was still dirty! I would not recommend this place
