AC Hotel by Marriott Atlanta Midtown

The location is excellent and so are the hotel facilities. The room is large and comfortable.

It is not a four star hotel as it is rated in booking. I felt deceived. It is overpriced for what it really is. There isn't an actual restaurant. There is food in the lobby. It is understaffed. Breakfast has very little variety and it is a mess. My impression is that nobody really knows what to do. I wouldn't recommend staying there.

We stayed for New Year’s Eve and enjoyed the hotel very much. The front desk staff were very accommodating and friendly. There were two overnight gentleman working, Eddy and I forgot the other man’s name, but both were great. We got back to the hotel around 1am on New Year’s Day and they both ensured we were satisfied with our stay. Breakfast in the morning was great, with excellent service. We will be back!

Location

This is a hotel with a good location in Midtown. While fairly basic, it is modern and clean. My room was well appointed, with a decent sized bathroom, many outlets and a strong wifi signal. The amenities are pretty ordinary-the buffet was pretty ordinary, though service was good-but my rate was roughly $260 per night, which made this a fine value.
