AC Hotel by Marriott Atlanta Midtown

Great property in a nice area with walkable restaurants.

Hotel room was nice and modern. Beds very comfortable. Walking distance to Symphony Hall for an evening concert. Buffet was excellent. Above all, customer service upon late evening check-in was excellent and a special shout out to Justin at front desk who was extremely helpful in letting us know what sights to see around town. Would definitely cone back to stay!

The hotel has extremely poor customer service. After prepaying for a room, my husband arrived at 2 AM with three small children but was denied entry because the hotel’s systems were down. The hotel offered no solution, forcing him to find another, more expensive hotel on his own. He had to walk around downtown Atlanta in the middle of the night to find a room, I’ve never experienced customer service so horrible. Attempts to get a refund were frustrating and burdensome - calls were ignored, the manager was rude and hung up on me, and showed little to no remorse for a situation that is so clearly their fault. Overall, I was shocked by the lack of accountability and unhelpful response from both the hotel and Marriott.

Good location. Justin was awesome at check-in and D’Angelo was awesome at check out. The breakfast was good and the lady working the breakfast was at well. Every intern with the staff was amazing even the young men transporting things on the elevator and housekeeping. There was a pool party on our floor and it didn’t even interrupt my stay I enjoyed the music 💃🏾

The only complaint I have is the sound of the air conditioner. It was so loud that it woke me up, few times. Other than that, excellent service. Thank you!

Everyone was so nice and accommodating

It is well located but subpar compared to most Marriott stays I have experienced. The lobby is unattractive. My room o 10 th floor was clean and comfortable; the AC was noisy. The connexion to Wifi was difficult initially and not strong otherwise. The breakfast in the lobby was of very poor quality and the service not good. Items that went missing were not replaced rapidly when they were. The whole display of breakfast items could be made more attractive. The quality of food was low (croissants, only 1 type of a bad jam in a minuscule box,etc..) and the room for breakfast was overlapping with the lobby, lacked decorum, privacy and so on. I went once to the bar next to the pool. The man did not have the draught IPA on the menu. I switched to a glass of Cabernet sauvignon that too was un available and was given a glass of red blend that was was acidic and really not good. The staff was otherwise pleasant and useful. The hotel is well located near several good restaurants. I will not return.
