Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Havelock

We arrived at the hotel full of hope, only to discover that the front desk had gifted us the thrilling experience of walking in on someone already living in our room. Surprise! But credit where it’s due—the staff handled it quickly and upgraded us to a nicer room. The new room had charm… the kind you find in buildings on the verge of remodeling. We were greeted by what we hope were droppings in the corner. The room itself was definitely… “well-loved.” Peeling here and there, stained towels and bedcovers. BUT—the bed was shockingly comfy, which is really all you want when you’re trying to ignore the rest of your surroundings. On the bright side, the TV was huge, the A/C worked like a dream, and the staff was super friendly (which is helpful when you need emotional support after walking into a stranger’s room and sleeping next to mystery poop). All in all: would I stay again? Maybe.

Every place in the hotel was musty and damp. Exterior lighting was dark and just seemed like I was walking into a "shady" establishment. I would not stay there again.

Mildew in bathroom. Mattress protector stained, Pool shut down, had an odor, bathroom in disrepair, furniture in room scarred up, bed made a noise like broken springs whenever we got on or off of it.

Quiet and spacious room. Very clean and easy check in

Good location…a little out of date and dirty.

The best thing about this room was the TV. Shower moldy. Very unclean. Bed was so squeaky. Just turning over sounded like it was falling apart. No phone in the room.When I arrived the front desk was unattended. Called the hotel 3 times. Finally a guy showed up. Ran my card. Paid for 3 nights. When I checked out (auto check out link was broken) they charged me again for 3 nights.
