Holiday Inn Binghamton-Downtown Hawley Street by IHG

We came for business meeting. The location was perfect. The facilities were clean and staff was very receptive and friendly. They made for a wonderful stay. The food at the restaurant we had for dinner was amazing. Our table was right next to the river and with the sun setting, it was beautiful.

Facility is clean and efficient. Staff is friendly. They brought us extra coffee because they are kind of stingy with coffee so we had to ask for extra. Beautiful views of the river from our window.

The manager was very rude. We came after a 3-hour drive for work and I asked the front desk staff to help set up the wifi because they have an unusual setup. The staff did not know how to do it right and told me all was fine when I had wifi without internet. When I pointed out to the fact and asked to redo the setup, the manager jumped from her office and yelled at me calling me rude. I told her that I was not rude but tired and anxious to get to my scheduled business meeting after setting up the internet connection. She had to back off. The staff was fine and we were both doing fine. Finally I remembered how to do it from my previous stay (a very friendly staff had shown me how) and showed the new staff at the desk so they don't have the same problem with another customer. Also we had a number of power outages and were left without a/c, lights and locked up in our room (rooms don't unlock without key) and the generator did not kick in the first time for two hours.

Far and Kamal at the front desk was so accommodating and professional it made my stay even better. It is always great to have employees at this caliber. If it wasn’t for the couple of power outage that night and early morning it would have been a 5 stars stay.

Guys were friendly and accomadating, look for Isaiah and Andy when you check in if you need assistance.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Downtown in Binghamton, NY. The room was clean and very comfortable. The hotel was decorated to celebrate the Bing graduates everyday we were there, nice. The breakfast in the restaurant was great the staff is friendly and super accommodating, especially Andy and Far. We had made an error while making our reservations and Andy and Far really went the extra mile to help us get back in track. My family really appreciated the attention that they gave to our situation, it made our stay even better!

Holiday Inn, Downtown Binghamton, is -hands down -, my favorite Bing hotel!! The employees are top notch! Andy & Team - thank you all so much!! The hotel is great, but you guys make it the best :) Re: location, it can’t be beat. Walk to great bars & restaurants, shops/markets, historical sites, Artist’s Way, and Binghamton University off campus student apartments/housing. The property is riverfront on the Chenango River & the River Walk. Clean, spacious, bright, updated rooms - great pool, breakfast/restaurant, well stocked “shop” in the lobby with impressive options :) I’m a Bing Univ parent, and Ive been visiting Binghamton regularly for years. I’ve stayed at most of the Bing/Vestal area hotels, and Holiday Inn, Downtown Bing is my first choice every time!!
