The Hotel Chalet at The Choo Choo

Being able to walk to Elisa’s Daughter Restaurant to eat and enjoy a great meal❤️

Location was great. It was clean and bed super comfy. Maggie from customer service was a member of staff who provided a professional service and resolved our issues we experienced in the end.

There were a couple of issues regarding unexpected charges on our bill and a relevant discount not applied , this was eventually partially sorted out by Maggie in customer service but took a few days, although discount from the restaurant was never applied and the hotel manager never discussed any of the issues with us at the time we raised them on checkout - this was disappointing. Also just to be aware -as we were not beforehand- they take a $75 per nights stay for incidentals, the total is refunded at the end of your stay, and whilst this was ok with us we were only there two nights ($150) it is worth factoring this into your costs if you are planning long stays!

Dian at concierge was brilliant and made our stay a delight.

The hotel and surrounding grounds were beautiful. The dining places were excellent.

The booking through booking.com showed a very different room than we received. We booked the room that had a private outside small patio with seating,but we were not given the room that we had thought we were getting.

That was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in.

The hallway was a little too dark. A microwave would have been nice, for longer stays.

Dian the concierge was wonderful. Coffee in the lobby was fantastic too.
