The Hotel Chalet at The Choo Choo

Staff were welcoming and went the extra mile to make our stay lovely.

Loved the room which was a converted train carriage. Location was great as very close to the station for the free downtown shuttle bus. Hotel offered lots of facilities, including a gym (great when you are travelling). Room was clean, bed comfy, liked that there was a fridge in the room. Wifi good, swimming pool a great plus.

The train car room was the just perfect. Clean, decor is plush and luxurious. The facility and staff were perfection.

Wish we would have stayed more nights here. Very relaxing.

Our room was not clean well and often cleaned very late in the day

What a gem! We stayed in one of the refashioned train cars and it felt like we had been transported in time to a private car from the 1940s. The bed was comfy, the decorating tasteful and accurate. The location was also great - close to restaurants and bars. Staff super friendly. Pool was relaxing to sit at- outdoors, even in February! We will definitely be back1

The train car was spacious and beautifully appointed. Walking distance to lots of bars, restaurants and music venues.
