Hotel Base Nara - Hostel

It's like a motel, but the facility is great. If you are not looking for a luxury hotel service, the cell bed room is comfortable enough for a group of friends to have nice sleep. The washer and dryer also work nicely allowing wash and dry summer clothes in one night. Certainly an ideal selection for a short stay in Nara.

I like it that its almost near to every place that we planned to go. A short walk from station and nara park.

I really like the whole facility of this building. If I have the time to come back in Nara i will definitely stay here. But if there are travelers who has children with them, i suggest that the management will let them stay at the first floor. We had some discomfort sleeping because of the noise from the second floor, running around footsteps even as early as 5am.

Every thing and area was so clean, not noisy at all, and the bed were comfortable. Thanks

We have some troubles to get the key from the device but it was not a big issue.

Would love to come back

The beds were very hard, gave us back pain. The toilets were dirty and not clean. The bathroom for women were far away to reach. There were no cups or cutlery to borrow.

Clean room and shower area.

Walls too thin, noisy neighbors and no staff to step in. Room was very small. Price was also very expensive for what it is. Toilets offered no soap to wash hands.

I booked a family room. The hotel is in a very good location, close to nara park and nara shopping street, the implementation provided is good and overall just very clean and comfortable. Car park is right next door with reasonable price. Highly recommend this hotel base Nara.

The only thing i confuse is that why cannot use the hair dryer in the shower room and i felt abit unconvinced for bring up and down the hair dryer.

I liked everything, near the park and the shopping district. Very modern facilities.
