All the staff was very nice and it was clean.

Very clean, room was very cozy

Property was dingy and dirty. It appeared the hallways hadn't been cleaned or vacuumed in a long time and there was visible debris all over the carpets. Our room had a really strong/overpowering damp/musty odor and the linens did not feel very clean. There was also a large youth team of some kind staying at the property, and they not only caused a lot of noise and disruption, but also made the pool area virtually unusable and were not attended by adults. The property staff did not seem to care. We ended up leaving and not staying the night.

It is basically a maze to find your room. I’m not kidding. Also, our room needed a dehumidifier. Everything felt damp and it smelled musty. Nothing was dirty, it was just uncomfortable.

The lobby of the hotel was deceiving, it was big and open —very clean. Our room felt damp upon entering. The wall paper was peeling off the walls in many places, I assume from the dampness, and the room had a very unusual smell. I do think they had cleaned the room, but it’s age and things that we’re looking old/ stained made it feel unclean. I reported the dampness, but was only offered a fan, no change of room was offered.

The breakfast cost over $20 for breakfast. Very expensive, ok quality but definitely not worth the money. I thought I had paid for it with my room but found out it had not gone through and was billed over $40.00 for 2. Bad deal. The restaurant had shut down so ver little amenities. I had stayed in Portland Oregon. Much nicer. Was somewhat disappointed in the Lawrence Kansas location

The A/C didn’t work this time. There always seems to be something broken at this hotel. We’ve had soaking wet floors, dehumidifiers, broken pool, hot tub, and now no A/C in the common areas. It’s clear they do not take care of the facility. I had the displeasure of running into one of the maintenance staff this visit. He was extremely rude and almost ran me over.
