Holiday Inn Raleigh Downtown, an IHG Hotel

Our curtains had what looked to be black mold on them (I was told it was a residue from the curtain material but idk how much I trust it). Our room needed some TLC (lightbulb missing, outlets not working properly, tv had lines, and lampshade had cracks.) but the bed was really comfy

Only one issue. One of the elevators did not work during new Years which meant longer wait times, luckily the other elevator was quick. Thanks for a very nice stay, the rooms are nice and elegant. The views are amazing. The staff was very friendly, especially Melanie.

Clean room, hot water, coveniebt and safe location. Very walkable. Great stay and I would return.

The location is great but the hotel has seen better days. They only have two elevators but one is out of service. Tiles in the lobby are cracked. Same as elevator. Our rooms ac/heating didn’t have any working room controls. The temp was okay but a few degrees warmer than I like. The shower head also wasn’t working correctly and spraying water but not in the right direction. The staff was friendly and security was doing a great job. The people and location is all it has going at the moment.

Had a abandoned floor and is dirty never again

One of the two lobby elevators still doesn't work..seems that it's been out of order for almost two full years, if not longer. There's just an overall bad odor on most of the floors.

Stayed at this location on 12/7/24. Woke up at 1240ish in the morning to someone attempting to enter my room with a key. I called to the front desk to report and the staff member stats “What’s up man” for 1 sir I’m a female. He goes to stat “I’m sorry you had a visitor in the system it shows cleaned”. Then at check out the manager who was very nasty tell me “You can call guest services if you have a problem” Literally Had To Sleep Like This

hallway and rooms were smelly. restroom door was hitting the commode and was not able to close. crampy and stuffy.
