Holiday Inn Raleigh Downtown, an IHG Hotel

Needs updating. Elevators very dirty - 1st impression not good Should not need to pay for parking

The interior was freezing. Hallways felt like same temp as outside. The hot water for tea was warm not hot and tasted like old coffee, wallpaper coming off walls, dining area was freezing.

The hotel needs some upgrades

Business trip for the night that got cancelled , staff was great !!! Building could use updating

Excellent central location. Small room with a nice view and a tiny bathroom. Very bare minimum - two towels. One of the elevators 2as down all weekend and for several hours on Sunday the other one went down so I had to go down 12 flights of stairs. Was just grateful I wasn't having a bad knees weekend. The included breakfast is boxed cereals and yoghurt, but no spoons,

Average room. 1 of the 2 elevators were not working, bathroom not that clean

Elevator was broken had to walk up 11 fliggts of stairs. Ice machine broken. Grab and go brekast not the breakfast that was advertised. Charged 150 more at check in then was quoted. After leaving card wqs charged 6 times.shower leaked on the floor. Lobby was cold. Not the experience i have ever had at holiday inn express. We have always choosen this chain.

The two late day front desk agents had attitudes. One rarely spoke when I first got there to check in and the other day I came in late and didn’t know something was for sale and the guy wasn’t nice when he alerted me it was for sale “do you want to pay for that?” Was aimed at me. Also the elevator was offline me and others had to walk down the stairs (I was on the 15th floor)

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. In addition to the staff being rude and the elevators being out of service, one of the beds in our room was covered with urine soaked linens. It was clear the bedding had not been washed as the entire room smelled of urine. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Breakfast was awful: no hot options, no microwave to warm up food, orange juice tasted bad, and bread had a dead fly in it. Room was older and not very clean, with leftover hair in the tub. Area was convenient and great. Front desk workers were really sweet. Had to pay for parking which sucked.
