Mayfair Inn

This place should be condemned. It looks nothing like the pictures! I almost passed the place because the sign was so faded you couldn't tell what it said; they had to put up a makeshift sign. I booked 2 rooms for 2 days to attend a wedding because they wouldn't put my 3 kids in the same room as my husband and myself. My check-in and check-out was through the security chain of one of the rooms. I had to get new key cards for the second day because they stopped working. There was a mattress on the ground outside the rooms. The pool was disgusting and the pool area was in disrepair. The parking lot was overgrown and cracked. One of the buildings had a collapsed roof. In one room the bathroom door was broken without a handle. The other room did not have a working door lock and to open the door you had to throw your shoulder into it. Coffee pot was missing in one room, the TV was messed up, there was no breakfast offered, and the rooms smelled so strongly of smoke, my son's allergies flared up and he is asthmatic. I tried to plug in my phone to charge it and the outlet sparked. The towels and bedsheets were stained yellow and brown. My husband looked at the reviews while we were there and one of the workers is one of the people that posted a positive review. And to top it all off, i got a knock on my door from a stranger asking if I was familiar with "The Big Man." I want my money back!

Horrible

They definitely either have bed bugs or don’t wash the linen. Spent one night here and I woke up itchy and my face broke out. Never again.

The property had trash bags filled with garbage every and they have roaches

It was clean and presentable. Couch was worn with some visible rips and tearing. First room want cleaned properly. They switched it the next morning but refused to agree to any compensation and the owner/manager literally slammed the office door in my face while mumbling something in some other unintelligible language.

Bed and sheets were clean and presentable. Foldout couch was old and had some rips and tears. Bathroom was clean but shower curtain did have some leftover hairs. Customer service was responsive. Driveway leading up to the hotel needs better lighting so that entrance can be seen from the street. Initially was hard to locate because of this.

Hotel is being renovated. room was ok. just lots of renovation work materials on site

The room was better than I expected it to be. very cozy, relaxing, clean, and spacious. I would most definitely stay here again and very soon.

Good area. Nice location. Pet friendly but a few Wifi issues
