"Lipstick on a PIG"

This Holiday Inn was a big disappointment. The room had popcorn ceilings peeling off, carpets that clearly needed a deep cleaning, and a sink that drained painfully slow. The in-room coffee setup was laughable—only one regular and one decaf pod. Hopefully, two guests don’t both want a cup of regular. While the lobby and restaurant areas looked recently updated, the improvements stopped there. The breakfast buffet was awful: bacon, sausage, and home fries were cold, the waffles were soggy, and the floor in front of the buffet was sticky. Even the coffee maker in the lobby/restaurant was out of order—but at $2.50 a cup, that might’ve been a blessing. Overall, this place is lipstick on a pig—looks decent from the outside, but the experience was very poor.

"HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!"

. As an IHG member I shocked by my experience. Room and bathroom were unclean; mold in the corner of the shower, "stuff" on the bedroom carpet, a sunken sofa that felt like an elephant had sat on it. As for the room itself, the shower was a "trickler" and the towels felt like sandpaper. While I was surprised that breakfast didn't come with the room like most hotels in its price range these days, the modest $12.95 per person price paid for an equally modest and stale buffet. Didn't find the staff particularly warm and friendly either.

"Our stay at the hotel was not very pleasant and we will not be back."

The front desk staff was very friendly.

Our room was not very clean. We had 3 adults staying in the room and there was only 1 k-cup for coffee. There was no microwave, the curtain was broken and the room wasn’t very fresh or clean. We didn’t have any sheets, blankets or pillows for the pull out sofa. We had to call down to the desk for them to bring us up some and it took them 45 minutes. The carpet in the hallways and our room was bunched up and it was a tripping hazard. It was definitely not worth the price of the room. We would not stay here again!
