This property was not near updated enough for the rates they were charging. The staff was nice and the lobby and dining area were in great shape. The room I had was in pretty poor condition overall. The bed was comfortable though.

There was an incident with a guest. The guest fell and was injured (Property NOT at fault) anyway I say this because the night, front desk, lady came to his aid immediately, called medical help for him and stayed with the guest until they arrived. These are the type of people that work here. They care about the guests and go above and beyond to help them. It’s not fancy or The Ritz but it’s affordable and nice.

Check in was quick. Opening the first room was upsetting. We requested non smoking room and was put in a smoking room with a ashtray and the most awful furniture and smell. I hate complaining so I hesitated but a little bit passed and I went ahead and called. The super nice lady that answered told me we had been put in smoking room for sure. She was so nice and told me she was waiting for me to come to get a new room. She had key ready for me when I walked in and I checked it out before we moved our stuff. It was on the other side of the building, and not overlooking the pool(that looked very nice) but it had mostly updated furniture and bathroom. The only thing was the bed was the hardest I've ever slept on and the chair was almost black on the arms of the chair to sit in. We were there 2 nights and for the price we just didn’t use that chair and dealt with uncomfortable bed. That room was clean, and the housekeeper was so nice to switch out dirty towels the first morning after our showers. I failed to get the ladys name at the desk but she was a little older than the original check in girl. Failed to get housekeeper name too but she was older lady and super nice! She checked to see if we needed her to do anything as we were heading out for the day. Overall service was good, non smoking room 149 was okay if you want a firm bed. For the price the bed wasn't a deal breaker. Also there is a awesome donut shop in the front corner of building! Super nice people and great food.
