At least the bed and pillows were comfortable.

Dingy, dirty, whole place stinks, looks like it hasn’t been renovated in 50 years. Had to change rooms because my first room had badly stained sheets. I wanted to save a couple bucks by staying here but just just not worth it.

The shower never got hot. The shower was also dirty. The in room coffee pot had mold all in it.

it looks like this hotel should be torn down. Half of it's boarded up courtyards look like a dumping ground.

It was near our event location. No bed bugs, we looked thoroughly. There, I found two nice things to say.

If this location is not slated to shut down soon, they should seriously consider it. One overworked desk clerk seemed to be the only employee in the entire hotel. While we were checking in, another guest came to the desk and said the room she had been assigned was already occupied. The building looked like the last time any maintenance was done was the early 80s, cracked windows in the room, peeling paint everywhere, shower caps on hallway smoke alarms for some reason, a back half that from the outside looked as if it was boarded up and abandoned, complete with a group of guys standing around drinking by a barbeque grill. The place was filled to the gills with young children in town for a tournament it seemed, running the halls playing kazoos, yes literal kazoos, until midnight and a couple kids outside our room window jumping on top of a car. Our lone, overworked clerk of course could not stop this from happening. I have pretty low standards for these trips as we are on business and only care to have a cheap room with a clean bed and a shower. I spent the first hour thinking we were on a prank show, and the rest of our stay thinking it would be a win if our car wasn't damaged during the night. No damage, so a win there, but still not sure we weren't on a prank show.
