Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Chambersburg Central

Our stay has been incredible! Check in was very fast and easy, the owner is very welcoming and nice. The rooms are very cozy and spacious. Nice size televison and great selection of channels. Definitely recommend staying here. We will be time and time again!!!

I was in town for one night, all hotels were booked so had to try this. Looked like Section 8 housing might also be living there. I called Choice Hotels and asked if they ever check and Inspect their hotels and she said on occasion!! Huh... Two other people left the hotel when I did, one said it was filthy the other said there were no sheets on the bed. Ended up going to Walmart and bought a pillow, blanket and baby wipes, slept in my truck, brutal to say the least. Zero stars but had to leave one to get this submitted. NEVER EVER STAY IN THIS HOTEL!! REALLY CHOICE HOTELS???? You can do better.....

When I entered the room it was very dirty. I had to kill several roaches in the first few minutes I was there. There entire hallway leading to the room smelled like weed and dirty carpet. It was too much to accept, so I cancelled my stay. Expedia is attempting to get the Econo Lodge to refund the cost of the room, since I didn't stay more than a few minutes.

The room had holes in the wall. The bathroom walls and door had holes in it. The ceiling had mold on it. When you turned shower on, sounded like the pipes were going to rattle out of the wall. The room was missing a table in it. When you came out of the room smelled like weed in the hallway till you got outside. When checking out no one was at checkout desk so wife let the room cards on the desk and took picture of it. So they couldn’t say we didn’t give them back. We will never stay there again was just dirty and run down. Needs at total rebuild on that place. YUCK!!!!!!!!! We will stay else were when we are in chambersburg.

Awful, mold in shower, toilet broken, food on wall, 2 towels and 1 wash cloth for 3 people, phone and clock broken, table for TV broken, chair for desk broken, shampoo bottle was open, and reeked of smoke, and outside door busted so anyone could get in, in fact someone tried to get into our room in the middle of the night... worst stay I ever had

Strong smoke smell in the room. Room not swept, roach on side of bed, and other bug on the ceiling.

This place was an absolute disaster. The rooms were not cleaned, no TV in my initial room and the tub had crap, literally, in it. The outside doors were off the hinges and there was stuff all over the floors and mice running around. We went through 3 rooms before finding one that was at least stayable. This place was disgusting and multiple families left. I canceled my second night.

Inside the room was pretty clean, even if the room would benefit from some attention (cigarette burns or rust on outside of bathtub. Laminate flooring in room was a plus as it's easier to clean. The hallways looked dirty, not vacuumed for a long time seemingly. There was (hopefully) dog fecal matter outside in the parking lot which looked pretty fresh so could have simply been missed or not gotten to yet. Complimentary coffee would have been nice as well as a refrigerator but you get what you pay for. Towels and bedding looked clean. Overall, I'd stay here again as it was budget-friendly.

If you are looking to get no sleep due to doors slamming and people arguing this is your place. Management will knock on your door in the middle of the night and even take your luggage because they put your reservation in the computer wrong. By far the worst place I have ever stayed. If you are that hard up for a place get a tent. You will thank me later. Oh I almost forgot. You can make some sweet dust graffiti on the end tables and entertainment stand so you have that.
