Super war die Lage und das gute Frühstücksbuffet.

Der Rezeptionist war eine Frechheit. Er konnte uns keine vernünftigen Antworten geben. Auf die Frage wo man Ausrüstung ausleihen kann, kam nur die Antwort wir sollen im Internet nachschauen. Er wusste auch nicht die Betriebszeiten der Fjellheisen Seilbahn am Silvester Abend. Auf die Frage eines anderen Gastes ob auch in Norwegen der 1. Jänner ein Feiertag ist, meinte nur er weiß es nicht, da er eh jeden Tag arbeiten muss. Das Hotel war schon sehr abgewohnt und es war überall sehr kühl.

"January 2026 we stayed as a couple in what they call a Budget Room which certainly was not a Budget Price at £1285 for 5"

"Great Hotel"

We stayed here 3rd-7th January 2025 and stayed in room 439. The room is a decent size and plenty of room. It was lovely and warm and you could open the window if you liked. Bed was lovely and we slept well. It’s in a perfect location to the supermarket, Hard Rock Cafe, McDonalds, the harbour. Great selection at breakfast. If I was to come to Tromso again I would stay in this hotel.

The hotel is in a good location to visit Tromso by walk, near to the main street where you can find lots of pub and restaurants! Also near to the port terminal and bus terminal where all the buses of excursions leave! The view of our room was nice, directly on the main street, in front of the church!

We had a bad experience with a lady from the staff. When we checked-out on 30th December (we only stayed for one night), the lady at the reception desk was very rude and arrogant and I think that if you are not able to welcome guests in a good way, you should do another work! The hotel is quite good but not a good value for money as it is so expensive for what they are offering (also breakfast should be improved).
