Location is great, with lots of restaurants and shops just a five minute walk away. We enjoyed the shuffleboard in the hotel and the breakfast was nice. The hotel itself was okay. The room is small and very basic. Our room was facing the road and it was very noisy one night, there were people shouting on the street at 3am for a long time and I didn’t feel like the windows were very sound proof. I would recommend asking for a room away from the road.

The windows were open when i came into my room so it was freezing and the heater didn’t work untill some time during the night. The breakfast was really good and the staff at breakfast were nice.

"Impressive Breakfast Buffet"

We stayed in a standard room which we found quite small but otherwise had everything we needed for a 4 day trip in Tromso, including a shoehorn which came handy during winter. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, close to everywhere. Our compliments to the staff especially at the breakfast room, by the way the breakfast buffet is 5* with good quality products and a wide variety.
