I thought the bathroom was dirty and uncomfortably small. The room smelled funny. Not enough towels. The bed was great.
Dirty
The room size was great. Fit my family of 5 comfortably. But the room seemed aged. Sinks were clogged, sheets and couch mattress had stains on them. We were only given two towels our first night and four the next. The pool was green and cloudy and we couldn’t see the bottom. So no swimming. This was our second visit to this hotel but probably the last until it has some sort of update. Staff is friendly, they just don’t have the resources.
It was close to where my Mom lives, so easy to get to, and close to Colonial Williamsburg for siteseeing.
The room seemed dirty and old. Furniture was old and worn. Headboard had grease stains. No coffee maker. Fridge was horrible looking.

They need to upgrade the rooms-stains on the floor-bathtub replaced.
Rooms were nice and spacious.... could have used more pillows but were given more when asked.. dont expect much for your continental breakfast basically just muffins and cereal but over all great for a great price would definitely stay again
Late at night we found some cockroaches. My children didn't want to sleep in their beds anymore .
Maybe 5/10. Very affordable but you get what you pay for. We asked for ground floor, given second floor room. It’s ok, not as clean as it could be. For first several days Of trip there was no maid service at all then all of the sudden day 5-6 they came both days. Hard to get what you need bc the phone for front desk always beeps busy. Ac was broken for first couple of days which was utterly miserable. Staff sent someone to fix the wrong room, finally day 3 got fixed and made room considerably more comfortable. Continental breakfast is consistent and efficient. Nothing fancy just toast, cereal, packaged pastry. It’s free. Was an ambulance at a room for a very long time. One night we had next door neighbors screaming and fighting all night for over a supposedly stolen pack of cigarettes. Pool Isn’t super clean and ducks live there. Great location, close to everything and very affordable especially over holiday. This should give you a pretty good idea of what to expect, choose accordingly.
