Wyndham Garden York

Location to the event center was nice and Fenderz food was good.

Beyond the lobby everything was very outdated and dirty. The pool was absolutely disgusting and the rooms were very dingey and hooks and things broken.

Everything but the pool.

The only thing we didn't like was the pool. It was so cold and seemed dirty. It seemed like it wasn't clean.

Honestly, dealing with these people is the most frustrating thing so I had some fraud theft and my card was completely locked called spoke to a representative. They told me that it was fine to use my wife’s card. The day of next thing you know the night before we’re supposed to head over here and stay. I get an email saying my rooms have been let go due to decline payment called and I was told that because my card was declining payment. They had other guests that needed the rooms and were able to pay right there and then I told them I would give them my wife’s card over the phone. The guy took it told me I was fine and I had a room. Send me an email confirming my room then I get a call back maybe five minutes later to be towed that when he put the payment through it didn’t allow him in his system to process the payment because they were already booked up and didn’t have any rooms available? Worst experience I’ve ever had in my life with a hotel

Everything people are liars they gave my room away. Don’t stay here.

We were in town for an event at the York Expo Center, so the location was great. Also super convenient to shopping and restaurants. The woman working the front desk was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool/courtyard area was very unique.

The pool was incredibly cold, it would be nice if it could be heated more. The pool also kept running out of towels (but to be fair there were a ton of children using the pool due to the cheerleading competition).

Evidently as of January 1, 2026, breakfast is no longer included with your stay. Not even a continental breakfast. Sucks because the main reason we stayed at this hotel was because they had an amazing breakfast included with the stay and it has a decent sized pool. We were surprised when we went to breakfast to find no one in the restaurant. Then a waitress came out and said you can only eat if you pay. Being that we have stayed there so many times we were surprised they stopped serving anything. Ultimately we ended up having to leave the hotel to get breakfast. On our way back through the area, we decided to check out another hotel in the area, that was $15 more for the night - they served a continental breakfast and had a pool.
