The beds were comfortable. Their breakfast was great.

The room I was in was very loud because of the people in the pool. I work nights and was trying to sleep during the day and all I could hear was kids screaming. Other than that, everything was great.

the breakfast was decent . I liked the sausage and eggs with decent coffee. The room was quiet with plenty of room.

The bathroom needs repairs done as the toilet seat was not fastened down and moves from side to side. The shower/bathtub fixtures need repair as more water was coming out between the wall and the fixture instead of out of the fixture correctly. This motel is showing its age a lot .

Review for Clarion Hotel Murfreesboro My Wife, our 2-month-old daughter, and I stayed here after a 15-hour day of driving and working. We chose this hotel because we needed a clean, safe place for our newborn. Unfortunately, that is not what we got. The front desk employee who checked us in was friendly, and our first room was an indoor room facing the pool area. I asked politely if we could move to an outside room because I prefer a window facing outdoors. The employee happily moved us. As soon as we entered the new room, something smelled off. While unpacking, my girlfriend killed a roach on the wall. That immediately made us start checking the room more closely. What we found was unacceptable: • A broken Black & Mild cigar in the corner • Carpets that clearly had not been vacuumed • Dirt and debris in nearly every corner • Hair ties, food, and trash under furniture • What looked like a clump of dried blood on the edge of the TV stand • A burn hole on the toilet from someone smoking in the bathroom • Sticky floors I calmly went to the front desk and showed the employee the video. He moved us to another room and even told me that complaints like this happen almost every night and management fails to fix the problem. Unfortunately, the second room wasn’t much better. When we opened the fridge cabinet area there was a load of smashed dead roaches inside. Alongside a bag of Cheetos behind the bed and tissues stuffed behind the TV stand. At this point it was nearly 11 PM, and we were exhausted with a newborn after a very long day. We almost left, but decided to try one more room. The third room, which they called a “premium indoor room,” was finally clean. The beds were comfortable and they did not charge extra for switching rooms. The next morning I asked to stay one more night so we could get some rest. They charged me an additional $25, which was frustrating after everything we had already dealt with. Then things got even worse. Management came to my door accusing me of telling people there were “81 roaches” and claimed other guests overheard us. He demanded to come into the room to look for them. I calmly explained the roaches were in the previous rooms, not the one we were currently in. He continued arguing and even threatened to call the police so I could “file a report.” The entire time I remained calm and polite. After all of this, the hotel refunded $10. This experience was extremely disappointing. With a 2-month-old baby, cleanliness should never be this questionable. The staff member at the desk tried his best to help, but it’s very clear there are serious management and housekeeping issues here. I will be contacting corporate and posting the videos I took so people can see exactly what we experienced. We will never stay here again.
