OYO Hotel Brownwood Hwy 67

The first room we got was hot and the a/c was not working, no toilet paper, one towel for 3 guests, no cable, no microwave, furniture falling apart, shower head was not working. I complained so they moved us to another room which was more comfortable but still one towel for 3 guests… I am never staying at that hotel again.

When I book my hotels, I book those that have irons, ironing boards, hair dryers, microwaves, wifi, and most often fridges. The microwave and wifi didn't work. There was no hair dryer, iron, or ironing board. There was also no fridge, tv or clock. The room stank and there were unempty trash cans on the landings. The key card didn't work for anyone that check when we did that night. On the bright side, the shower was marvelous and the air conditioning worked well.

We didn’t stay because they didn’t have the room I reserved, WiFi I guess wasn’t good since she was trying to get us a room closer to it and then found out the tv’s were down. The clerk gave us a number for a refund and they refused it because it said we completed our stay although we never completed our check in!😡

Horrible. We could not even get in the room, four separate door keys would not open the door. Just looking through the window, the room looked unclean. Plus the room was way in the back near the boarded up section of the motel and there were weeds and trash.

Called to confirm that the hot tub and pool were open and operable. Choose to pay on arrival. Arrived at 1:35 PM to an empty lobby except for the clerk. She said I would have to come back at 2:00 to check in even though no one else was there. Returned at 2:00 only to be told the hot tub was not working. When I asked why 2/3 of the buildings were boarded up she said one block of buildings had been flooded and the other block had been burned. She also told me there was no cable and no WiFi. At that point I cancelled my reservation specifically asking would I have to fight a cancellation charge. She said that I wouldn't have to. I reasoned that the contract was broken by OYO when the hot tub advertised on the internet and on a bill board outside of town did not work, not to mention no cable or WiFi. I arrived home to find that OYO had charged me $102 for my short stay in their office.

Almost my worst stay ever. Wifi sucked, no cable, was given a Chromecast that I couldn't connect to. When I got there someone either overdosed on something or was drunk. He was passed out at the pool area with brown stuff coming out his mouth. I would highly recommend anyone, especially with a family to steer clear of this place.

Had to try 6 different keys to get in. Cars being repaired in parking lot. Needs a complete remodel

Absolutely the worst place I have ever stayed at. The parking lot of the hotel already gave me a not so pleasant feeling. Get to the room and it reeked of dirtiness & animal smell. A/C barely blew air and the vents were black from mold. Toilet paper roll was left empty, no remote to the tv. Walls had what looked like blood splattered on them. I was so grossed out I couldn’t even sit on the bed.I’m surprised the health department hasn’t condemned the place!

room not as advertised. reserved 2 queen beds room got 2 full (?) size beds. curtains held in place with electrician tape. outside was trashy and needed up keep. hotel staff was too busy visiting with "friends" to help. No tv or internet connection> toilet not firmly attached to floor (wobbly) like an earthquake. stay was not enjoyable and will not consider this hotel for any future stays. Felt dirty after being here. Not even worth reasonable rate for stay.
