Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa

I went to Carambola and the food was amazing, Estrella served us she was super nice and knowledgeable of the menu!

I wanna start out by saying that Daphne helped us get our rooms picked out and set up well before we arrived on the even side of the building which faces the pool Ferris wheel, etc., which is a southern view and it was the best side of the building to be on. My wife was in a boot and wanted to get sorted out before we arrived. She was very helpful and very kind. When we got there, we had room 708. It wasn’t quite ready when we got there and then at some point later they told us there was an issue with the AC unit, but would let us go ahead and move our stuff into there while they figured out the Situation with the AC. Sometime later AC was not working out well then we realize the safe didn’t work, then we realize that there was an issue with the refrigerator after we moved in all of our food that we brought in from Instacart and some of the stuff got ruined. Early in the evening after making a phone call being quite tired and upset with the situation, We asked to be moved to another room and at the time there were no more rooms available so you can understand how we were in a pretty bad situation. A little while later John I believe his name was said that room 608 had opened up and they let us move all of our stuff from our room to that room the AC and everything worked fine and then we were able to start our vacation. Lol honestly that was really the only black spot on the stay and one incident with housekeeping that I’d ask to turn over and clean up our room that somehow got missed. I will say that the Hilton went out of their way to do the best they could for us and they even made it right by taking care of us with a “ultimate Beach package” ($251 value) and a partial refund which I don’t know that you could ask much more than that. We enjoyed the pool there . We enjoyed the food there. We enjoyed the drinks there and we enjoyed the beach there. The place is right in the middle of everything within walking distance, which was good since my wife was in a walking boot and crutches. One of the best things about the Hilton is that it its own private Beach because if you walk a few hundred feet to the south towards the pier, you’ll see what a public beach looks like in the middle of summer and it is absolute pandemonium and chaos with too many people. As most people have mentioned the rooms could use a refresh, but I would definitely stay at the Hilton again. The staff was more than friendly (and I was a handful a couple of times) and helped to the degree that they were capable with any issues. I’d like to thank Daphne, Dylan and John (I think those are the guys) for helping us out with our stay and making things right . Will be back someday (though they may not want me.lol) .

This place is a DUMP. Run down. Dirty. GROSS. So disappointed. Honestly, it’s awful. We stay at Hilton hotels all the time and are always happy. Hilton should be embarrassed to have their name on this building. It’s NASTY.

The place is comfortable, the workers are so nice!! Especially Alta! She’s the sweetest person ever and her drinks are so good.

Lorelie is an amazing server. From the moment we sat down for breakfast it felt personal. She made sure we had everything we needed. Her smile is contagious and made us feel right at home.
