Good for a stop in the middle of our trip. Barstow is a tiny city, which has the ancient route 66!. The hotel is used mainly by workers, but we felt great as a family, comfortable and really good price.

Breakfast had not so many options. Train nearby. Not a problem for us, but it could be heard

The man that was on the desk when we arrived was great.

Got a small piece of glass stuck in my foot from the carpet in the bedroom. Housekeeping was doing the room next to mine at 1:30am and woke me by banging on things and was talking on her phone so loudly for an extended period of time that there was no chance of anyone in nearly rooms getting any sleep. After flying for over 28 hours to the US then driving for 3 hours to the hotel all I wanted was a decent nights sleep. I had to drive another 6 hours the next morning on two hours of sleep thanks to the housekeeper waking me. The bed had three tiny, lumpy, square pillows. Not enough for 2 guests. The room had terrible lighting. Could only see well the next morning after opening the curtains
