Couldn’t get into the room we were first given due to inside lock. Nothing for continental breakfast like advertised. Had to pull the luggage up steps. People were drinking outside below the steps. Felt unsafe walking from the car to the room.

The staff didnt knock before entering the rooms. This happened twice before it was even check out time

My husband and I booked our stay through a third-party site and were placed on the backside of the hotel, away from the main check-in area. When we arrived around 10 p.m., finding our room was a bit of a challenge. As we walked through the corridors, we noticed that some of the stairs were in poor condition, and there were items such as old beds, chairs, and plants stored in the hallways. We also passed someone sitting in a dark room with their door open, which made us feel uneasy. When we finally reached our room, we noticed that the towels appeared dirty and used. Throughout the night, I could hear others around our room talking. After spending one night (out of the six we had planned), we spoke with management the next morning. They were very understanding and promptly moved us to a room closer to the front. Before leaving the back area, we also noticed someone feeding stray cats in the parking lot. The new room was more spacious and had clean towels, which we appreciated. However, during our stay, housekeeping never stopped by, and when I went to request clean towels, they still appeared dingy. Breakfast was provided daily and consisted of eggs, sausage gravy, waffles, toast, yogurt, and cereal. It was the same selection each morning and fairly average—nothing particularly special, but decent if you’re not too picky. The bathrooms near the front desk and breakfast area were also in poor condition, with multiple “out of order” signs and one that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned properly. It gave the impression that upkeep in the common areas was not a priority. Overall, while management was kind and responsive, the first impression, age of the building, and cleanliness issues left a lot to be desired.
