Alpen Way Chalet Mountain Lodge

Location was ok

The room was not a room but yet a basement. Listed as a chalet, which is a joke. The room was dirty, small and overpriced. The owners were rude and abrasive. They would sit and watch my family in the hot tub, super creepy. I have traveled all over the world and this place was by far the worst I’ve ever stayed at. I would rather stay at a motel than here. The room, which was a basement of their house, was filthy. The staff/owner was extremely rude and abrasive. Please stay anywhere else if you want to have a good vacation.

The accommodations were as listed, however beds were smelly and uncomfortable.

Exceeded expectations! In a great location close to the little downtown area of Evergreen. The hot tub was clean and a nice feature. The room was very clean. Lots of wildlife sighting. The pitcher of water in the mini fridge was a nice touch. Would recommend and would stay again!

Just so pretty.The grounds are well kept.

I would have liked a more private patio.

This property was beautiful! My mom and I stayed here for a concert at Red Rocks, and we very much enjoyed our stay. The room was larger than a normal hotel room, and we loved its rustic mountain decor and hominess. We also loved all of the sitting areas around the property. We found it quiet and very comfortable, and the owner waited for us past the normal check-in time, and personally showed us to our room. We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again!

The location is great! Bed was very roomy and comfortable. Facilities were very clean and quiet. I liked having the key pad for the door as well.

Great hosts, some traffic noise but overall nice. Wish there was a ceiling fan in room since there is no AC.

The property was cute and close to Evergreen lake house which we traveled to for a wedding.

The hospitality was poor. I’ve never felt uncomfortable at a place that I’ve booked for a getaway. My fiancé and I booked this property so we could be close by to a wedding venue my cousin was getting married at. This property made us feel bad for driving two of our vehicles (which we needed for the weekend) because their parking lot is small and they booked out for the weekend. The parking lot always had multiple spots available so it was unnecessary how they treated us. Secondly, we booked this place specifically so I could have the bride come over the morning of her wedding so I can do her hair and make her some breakfast and the property said absolutely no other people can come in our rental- even if I drove her so we wouldn’t be taking up a third parking spot. The owners of this property lives above our rental and stood at their window often staring at the parking lot during the day to watch who’s cars were coming and going. Not once did I feel comfortable with my stay because I felt watched the whole time. I Will not book here again.
