Villa Maiara

The view from the villa was amazing. Located on a cliff overlooking the sea is the key feature of tgis property.

This being a small property, there is a limted staff. So sometimes it may get delayed in responses and things you ask for. But otherwise its good

Location, noise and loud wedding parties held almost everyday by the resort next to the villa until late hours(VERY loud)

We stayed in the private villa, the views are absolutely amazing! Bathtub has a beautiful view and breakfast was delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful

The view is incredible and was very private which was great. The location of the villa can be challenging to get to though, as it’s quite far out and not nearby to any cafes or anything. We used gojek to have food and drinks delivered most days. There were two nights where it was very noisy as the neighbouring venue was hosting weddings on the cliff front. The music was blaring all night and fireworks woke us up about midnight. Also there is quite a bit of noise in the afternoons from Sundays beach club, which is located directly underneath the villa on the beach front. As long as you don’t mind noise then I would recommend this villa. But if you’re after peace and quiet then potentially book elsewhere. We would book again despite the noise, it was a beautiful space. We had the private villa on the lower level. I had a Balinese man come out and do a massage which he did outside on the outdoor bed, it was very peaceful with the sounds of the waves crashing. Be careful of monkeys too. There were a few days they tried to get into our villa. Nothing to be afraid of, just be mindful not to leave things laying around as they’ll steal it.
