Villa Maiara

Well the location was amazing, every morning a pool with ocean view, I was completely alone in whole villa so that was just an amazing 2 nights there, also tv with netflix and so on, could rent a good bike there for a fair price, private breakfast in the morning and the breakfast was very rich, I was so full. Also the manager and staff very friendly, very fast wifi also. 40 mbps comparing to other villas its very good

The only thing is that you can see that the villa needs already some maintenance. You can find some cracks, some things are broken like plumbing in shower and so on. Could be replaced, some things just need some care and they probably dont want to invest money in it. But if they would it would be like 10/10 place to stay definitely

Location is exotic by all means

There is no restaurant no in room dining facilities

The view and the space was wonderful and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The monkeys…they chased me so didn’t dare be outside and also then feared using the outdoor shower. The doors were not easy to lock and the aircon wasn’t overly powerful for the size of the room and I had to try sleep on the sofa to stay cool - the bathroom was also ridiculously hot. Also a little tatty round the edges

I love the views from the room / property and the staff are very nice. The staff helped me find my phone when I left it in a gojek. Also when mentioning about what upset our stay they did their best to rectify most things.

Upon checking in late at 1am due to flight getting in late, the room smelt musky and the linen spelt like it hasn’t been washed even tho it looked like it had. When unpacking our stuff we found a dirty needle and syringe in a draw which was extremely off putting.

It was in such a beautiful location and the staff were just lovely.. a wonderful holiday x
