We had such an amazing stay at Villa Maiara! Cristy and the staff took care of us and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. The Villa was amazing, so big and in a great location. Would highly recommend!

"Exceptional"

The view is absolutely incredible! We were blown away. The villa itself is maintained well. Rooms are big, spacious and clean. In terms of location it is tucked away but we rented a scooter which made travelling around a lot easier. We were told that they were getting beach access within the next month which is the only thing my opinion that the villa needed. Will definitely be back!

The only plus side was the view and friendly staff but I wouldn’t stay here again.

The villa is extremely run down and it needs lots of work. Blood on bed sheets, dirty chair/curtains and paint coming off walls. Lots of monkeys and not all friendly. We were also told on arrival not to leave doors open due to the monkeys. The doors don’t close properly leaving gaps when locked so not completely secure and the steps aren’t even making them a trip hazard which my mum became victim to.

Location and staff were fantastic

Property is showing its age and needs maintenance. Needs painting and cleaning of the tiles and paving. Kitchen needs a microwave oven and the internet failed on the last two days

The ocean view , monkey entertainment.

Breakfast is ordinary the property offers no facilities. Food options from this location are limited. At this level the property should offer a driver or shuttle to take you to the beach or restaurants near by. Lucky karma kandara is next door offering full facilities so we used there shuttle to get from the beach and restaurant. The owner needs to invest in there staff the property is missing a lot of personal touch points with some love this property could be amazing.

"Very old villa and horrible smell from laundry perfume"

Nothing

The villa is very old. Room smells very bad and in the shower smell was like someone died there. We even didn’t stay second night and left earlier. It’s nice view from the villa but it needs serious renovation. I don’t recommend to stay there.
