Fresh breakfast with a gorgeous view of the lake was definitely a highlight. Loved staying at this charming hotel full of cute surprises like the wine cellar, the jacuzzi, and the garden.

It was so lovely. Wine cellar, jacuzzi, pretty view — it was all so nice.

The location, just off the Grand Canal down a quiet calle, was perfect. The room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. We had a small private outdoor table and chairs off the room that was just right for morning coffee and evening wine. And the breakfast was delicious and satisfying. We had a wonderful stay.

There really was nothing to dislike.

Warm, welcoming and unforgettable stay! I had a truly wonderful experience at this charming hotel in Italy. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and hospitality—it really felt like a home away from home. The atmosphere was peaceful and inviting, and the space had a unique charm that made it stand out from other places I’ve stayed. Make sure you get the breakfast included package with your stay because the food is fresh and delicious along with good coffee!

Het warme welkom door het personeel, de betrokkenheid en bereidheid om je te verwennen en te helpen met tips in de omgeving. De inrichting is italiaans retro klassiek en zo passend bij het huis. Er is zelfs een jacuzzi. Geweldig. Het ontbijt op het balkon maakte het helemaal af. Prachtig uitzicht over het Como meer. Cinzia is the best !

Als je slecht ter been bent is het niet geschikt. Je moet best een stuk lopen.

Good breakfast (especially the eggs), nice views from the terrace, owner Alessandro was very kind when we had a situation with another guest and a nice gesture for my mother on her birthday. Cleaner was very friendly and kept the place neat and tidy.

Agree with the reviews about the false advertising, when booking it was not clear which room we were getting. Accessibility to the location and also to the room was very difficult and at times dangerous for elderly visitors. Lower floors had a bad damp smell, quite off putting when warming food in the kitchen downstairs and we could not sit there for long. With regards to the review about racism, we did feel we were treated differently to the other guests at times. While on the surface the staff were pleasant, it did sometimes feel like we were being controlled / under observation with the rules. Wouldn’t book this location again.
