"Good quality Marston's hotel"

A very nice, super clean and comfortable room, with a spacious double bed. On a hot weekend the room temperature was nice and cool, which was great for sleeping. The room and accommodation block are set back from the restaurant and main road, and so it was very peaceful. Nice quality touches were a good sized TV and Yorkshire tea and coffee bags in the hospitality tray. An extra bonus was the large beer garden, with a large children's play area, and lots of tables placed around the grounds. Breakfast was very tasty, with good quality ingredients used. All in all, better than other hotel chains such as Travelodge and Premier, which often don't have such nice surroundings, or a bar and restaurant, and at a competitive price. We would definitely stay here again when visiting the Conwy area.

Not a complaint, but the only thing to note, was the somewhat stretched service there was on the evening, and at breakfast. We got the impression that there were one or two members of staff missing to enable a smooth service, and there was a fairly long wait for food to be served- but the food was great when it arrived. The team members we met were all very nice, kind and doing their best to keep everyone happy, and to promote this hotel. We think the team really needs extra praise for coping so well, and staying cheerful on such a busy weekend- well done to them!

Staff are always great there. Rooms over the main bar are large and comfortable.

Breakfast has dropped massively in quality.

Room was really quiet a bit worried as it was right next to the children's playground. But all was well.

The bathroom fan didn’t turn off all night not sure why.
