Request for twin beds in the two rooms not honoured Breakfast was ok but no orange juice, coffee machine not working so used thermos jugs resulting in lukewarm coffee.

Main bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly, and wasn't through fault of their own for being so understaffed. Plenty of parking Really scraping the barrel to find positives here

While the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our visit, unfortunately the overall standard of the accommodation, food and facilities fell well below expectations, particularly given the price paid. Firstly, I was disappointed to discover that there was no mention of the advertised discount on the evening meal for guests staying overnight. The evening meal itself was of a very poor standard. The steak was dry, overcooked and extremely chewy. In addition, the quarter tomato served alongside it was very small and completely raw rather than cooked. The quality of the food did not reflect the price charged. We also experienced several issues with our room access. The first key card provided did not work and had to be replaced. We then encountered further problems with the replacement key, which intermittently failed to open our room door. The bathroom facilities were also lacking. The shower gel dispenser was completely empty, forcing us to use the hand soap to bathe the children. There was very little hand soap remaining, leaving insufficient product for my own shower the following morning, which effectively became just a rinse under water. The Wi-Fi would not connect during our stay, preventing me from ordering food at the table through the system provided. There was also an issue with my son's meal. We requested that certain items be removed while one particular item remained. Despite this item already being included in the meal, an additional £1 charge was added. The quality of the single bed mattresses was extremely poor. My 10-year-old was unable to sleep comfortably, resulting in us having to rearrange the sleeping arrangements. My two children ended up sharing the double bed while I had to sleep on one of the single beds, with my niece using the other. Furthermore, only three bath towels were provided despite the booking being for four guests. It is unreasonable to expect guests to share wet towels.

The location is great for getting about but it sits on a large roundabout accommodating the A55 - so very noisy from very early in the morning
