"Perfect for Alton towers."

Absolutely perfect for visiting Alton towers. The staff were lovely especially Margaret. Breakfast was great. You’re staying in a pub so expect some noise if you want to go to bed early so annoying when you see people complain about noise when it’s obvious you’ve booked a pub. Loved all of it very welcoming and accommodating. 5 min drive to Alton towers.

"Uncomfortable beds"

Beds not the most comfy also trying to get hot water was a trial . We worked out that if you let the toilet cistern fill up then turn on shower I the water would come out quicker but hot water was intermittent. Shame bar didn’t open until 7pm and hardly any beer . Breakfast okay but bacon to thick and tough . Cereal bland . Staff lovely . Would not stay again . Basic and quite expensive
