Beliggenhed fantastisk og luksus med gratis shuttle service til den kinesiske mur! Vi ankom til hotellet og 10 min efter var vi på vej til muren. God morgenmad og lækker jacuzzi, samt værelse med gode faciliteter. Der manglede ingenting! Vil anbefale dette hotel til alle der skal besøge den kinesiske mur.

Établissement atypique très bien situé pour visiter cette partie de la muraille de Chine. Le personnel est extrêmement attentionné et professionnel (et parlent anglais ce qui facilite les échanges !)

The service at the Brickyard was exceptional. A special mention to Stanley who helped us with any question we had. Nothing was too much trouble for him and the team - he sorted our transfers to and from the wall, arranged our transport to our villa. We were in a 4 bedroom house the village which was very clean and spacious It was a 10-15 minute walk from the Brickyard. Recommend the Chinese restaurant in the village which was part of the Brickyard. Location was great with lovely views but what made our break was the super service.

It’s so close to the wall. You can sit in the gardens and look at the wall. The staff were exceptional. Incredibly helpful in guiding us about wall tickets etc. The hotel shuttle to the wall was a lovely vehicle and the entire hotel felt extremely classy and high end. It makes going to the wall a lovely experience, rather than a rushed bus tour.

The room has the toilet and shower separated by a wall, rather than in a separate room. This is ok for the shower, but not the toilet. We would have preferred more toilet privacy, although there are communal toilets at the hotel you can disappear to.

Full villa, a short walk away from the main resort where there is a small pool, bar, nail salon, massage. All amenities at the villa, we got a full breakfast basket to make our own breakfast in the morning. It has (albeit limited) views of the wall of China. It feels very quiet and luxurious. We had dinner at the bar near the main hotel area.

Warming, I’m sensitive to noise! The restaurant next to the villa turns once in a while their airconditioning on and it sounds like a jet is landing next to you. That can continue for up to an hour or more. It stopped during the night. You don’t hear it where you sleep but it can be heard in the garden and kitchen/living area.

Excellent property and a great retreat away from busy Beijing. Staff were extremely helpful and responsive. Special shout out to Stanley amd Nitin who took care of our every need. We had an excellent stay and would highly recommend this property

We were so impressed by how gracious and helpful all the staff were. They treated us like family! We are American and speak very little Mandarin. But the staff responded immediately to messages in English, arranged a car from the train station, took us to and from the Great Wall, and even let us stay later in our room so we could freshen up before we left for Beijing. We will be back!

This is my second time to Brickyard. The villa is wonderful, very spacious and great for family gathering. The yard has many layers for the kid to explore. It is also very considerate to cover all you need during the stay. Absolutely love it and enjoy our stay at Brickyard.

I would appreciate the choice of having breakfast in the hotel restaurant without an extra charge. It should be part of the experience as I remembered the breakfast was also quite delicious when we first visited many years ago.
