Hilton Garden Inn Kampala

My go to hotel while in Kampala..great service..clean rooms, excellent staff and very good food..I always enjoy my stay at Hilton.

First let me say, when you are planning an event from the USA to take place in Kampala Uganda and you want it to be done with excellence...only consider Hilton Garden Inn for your event! On our previous stay in Kampala we tried a few venues for their food and service, then before going we had narrowed it down to 3 places to consider when holding our event. For safety, food excellence and location it simply had to be the Hilton Garden Inn Kampala for "our precious attendees" for our conference! Rosemary OYela, (Sales & Marketing Mgr) and Ravish Kumar (Food and Beverage Mgr) are quite simply the best! Albert, Manager at the Front Desk, and all of his people at the front desk and travel desk were wonderful! They paid attention to the smallest details, treated everyone in our group as if they had each booked the conference themselves...I appreciated this level of professionalism. Rosemary, Albert and Ravish, excellent job- you have trained your people well! One of our village Pastors said the service was "so very nice, in our country waitstaff leave you alone after they bring you the drink or food...but these people are so nice and attentive, they keep coming to check on you and take care of your needs!" They were amazed because they had not experienced this before...thank you for making them feel special. This short conference our Pastors were pampered and treated like royalty, they rested and were renewed in their bodies, tummies and in their spirits. We Bless you for making our mission to Uganda special, our time away with you was special. Special notes of recognition to Felix in the Dining Room- every morning after the first morning breakfast- he greeted us with a smile, had our orders memorized and was very kind throughout our stay. Marisol, oh she has a sweet smile at the hostess desk and greeted us warmly. Brian, in the afternoons, much the same as Felix was...he was such a blessing! Ravish, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! You are a gem! You made our 8 day stay there...absolutely wonderful! Our conference was amazing...the tables, the FOOD, WOW!!! The little touches, the roses on the tables, the tea morning and afternoon- AWESOME! Our people were blown away! Rosemary, precious. You are such a jewel. All the planning, changes and little things that I might have missed...you took care of. Bless you! We hope to see you next year...if not, very soon thereafter! Please pass this on to your GM, they need to keep all of you, if a team works this well together, keep them together and replicate them over and over to make your business flourish! I received a very warm welcome upon arrival on May 8th with an airport pick service on time that I highly recommend for anyone visiting the city of Kampala and staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Kampala. The Front Office Manager, Albert and his front desk staff went above and beyond to accommodate my requests with patience and understanding. Upon arrival the check in personalized service was a great experience and would like to recognize Bettina, Tadeo and Stuart at the desk for great customer service with a bright smile always! Agatha and Nicholas( driver) with the hotel taxi transfer team are amazing, and patient. Great service with attention to details to meet all the requirements for the entire week stay including the late and last minute communication. The Housekeeping Attendant Margaret on the 6th floor is one of the unsung heroes in the Rooms department for the hotel who quietly provided exceptional cleaning service everyday with a warm greeting every day and paid great attention to details to exceed my expectations. The hotel guest areas were always clean, fresh and organized! The Food and Beverage Manager Mr. Ravish led an amazing food service team that were flexible to meet and exceed my expectations for the entire week stay. The Breakfast service was always fresh with new food options for every taste palate! 😊 The breakfast was always the highlight of the morning and made it possible to start the day in the right mindset. I would like to recognize Grace A, Ivan and Pascal in the service team for an amazing service delivery every day! I spent more almost 2-weeks at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel and absolutely loved it. The rooms are quite modern and clean, food was always on point and the staff were very friendly. It’s also just a short walk from a vibrant mall, the museum and a nice park. I felt at home here and would definitely recommend it!

I genuinely enjoyed my stay at Hilton Kampala. Excellent food, spotless rooms, and a calming ambience that's hard to find in a city centre. But the real standout was the staff. Warm, attentive, and professional from check-in onward. Would happily stay there again.

The hotel is ideally located in Kampala within easy walking distance to the Acacia Mall for shopping and other food options etc. The staff were professional and friendly and the the hotel facilities are as you would expect from a Hilton. All in all a very comfortable place to stay when coming to Uganda.

No issues were encountered.

Hilton is very accessible and has a quiet and atmosphere. Their rooms are every good and Comfortable and very clean. I enjoyed the food and the professionalism with which the staff serve was e excellent.
